Faraday's law of induction

Faraday's law of induction describes how a changing magnetic field results in an electromotive force and thus current flow, and vice versa,

E=∮𝜕Σ⃗𝐄⋅𝑑⃗ℓ=−𝜕𝜕𝑡∬Σ⃗𝐁⋅𝑑⃗𝐚=−𝑑Φ𝐵𝑑𝑡

or equivalently by Stokes's theorem

⃗∇×⃗𝐄=−𝜕⃗𝐁𝜕𝑡
