The βπ-field is an auxiliary field defined as
βπ=βππ0ββπ
where βπ is the magnetic field and βπ is the magnetization.
βπ satisfies AmpΓ¨re's law for magnets which is analogous to AmpΓ¨re's law satisfied by βπ,
however unlike βπ it is not in general divergenceless (ββ Γβπ = βββ Γβπ).
