Separating set

A set of functions 𝑆 ⊆𝖲𝖾𝗍(𝑋,𝑌) is said to separate the points of 𝑋 iff for every 𝑥,𝑦 ∈𝑋 there exists an 𝑓 ∈𝑆 such that 𝑓(𝑥) ≠𝑓(𝑦). #m/def/fun
