Metrics on spacetime

There are three principal metrics in flat (i.e. Minkowski) spacetime. The first two are variant depending on observer (the reference frame):

1. Space interval — The distance between two points is given by the well known pythagorean theorem .
2. Time interval* — The time between points is given by .
